Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Supervisor/Manager in running the sanitation department or line by coordinating personnel and enforcing company policies and procedures, including food safety and GMP guidelines.
  • •Learn departmental goals, interrelationships, applicable policies and regulations, and the supervisor’s responsibilities (coaching/mentoring, labor costs, budget, timekeeping).
  • •Gather, record, and report departmental data such as attendance/staffing and yields, and distribute it to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • •Identify opportunities to optimize processes and lead or participate in process improvement planning, tracking improvement metrics and responding to unfavorable trends.
  • •Train and cross-train employees on departmental processes, participate in departmental meetings, and support safety initiatives to maintain a zero-accident culture.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Business or a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • •Minimum one (1) year relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • •Demonstrated leadership skills, including timekeeping awareness, policy adherence, Top 25 behaviors, and conflict resolution.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written); ability to communicate in multiple languages is preferred.
  • •Proficient computer and math skills with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
