Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform circuit design lifecycle activities including requirements capture, schematic capture, documentation, and circuit design analysis.
  • •Coordinate and review PCB layout inputs (board stack-up, routing instructions) and create test plans.
  • •Develop and integrate Collins products within communication systems and test solutions in multidisciplinary teams.
  • •Develop engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, and related technical drawings/schematics.
  • •Contribute to communication system and test system development stages, including technical cost and schedule aspects, and perform root-cause analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a STEM degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
  • •U.S. citizenship is required.
  • •Demonstrated experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
  • •Experience with electronic circuit and hardware development (digital electronics, schematic capture, hardware integration, and hands-on testing/troubleshooting).
  • •Experience using engineering tools and test equipment (e.g., logic analyzers, RF spectrum/network analysis, oscilloscopes, and ECAD/PCB design tools).
