Job Summary

Lead a team of testing and QA professionals, ensuring high-quality standards across 2K games and products. Own test processes and quality strategy, manage staffing across assigned projects, and oversee risk prioritization, bug tracking, and QA reporting. Establish quality standards and ensure compliance with platform holder submission guidelines (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo). Coordinate closely with Producers, Developers, Compliance, and external studios, and help recruit and grow the team.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, mentor, and grow a team of testing and QA professionals, including performance reviews and staffing decisions.
•Establish quality standards and best practices, ensuring compliance with platform holder guidelines (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo).
•Manage risk, prioritize testing efforts, and ensure timely issue resolution, including bug tracking and QA reporting.
•Oversee development milestone sign-off and manage the submission process.
•Serve as the key liaison between QA/Test, Producers, Developers, Compliance, and external departments/studios, including recruiting and interviews.

Key Requirements

•Solid experience in software testing and QA in the video games industry, including prior experience as a Test/QA Manager or equivalent.
•Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, bug database systems, and the test plan/bug-writing process.
•Proven experience managing and developing QA/Test teams, including performance evaluations and mentoring.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment.
•Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
