Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce cost estimates using cost methodologies and tools, incorporating project complexity factors and deriving quantities from design parameters.
  • •Run uncertainty analysis and sensitivities, manage estimate reviews/audits, and benchmark results against historical performance and KPIs.
  • •Develop concept-level and building-block estimates, including capacity factored estimates and location factor adjustments, using TECOP to set cost contingency.
  • •Translate project scope and engineering deliverables into capital expenditure estimates across design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and start-up.
  • •Create and maintain the estimate basis and estimating data processes, including collecting actuals, normalizing data, and developing benchmarking packages.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree and/or certification as a Cost Estimator or equivalent experience.
  • •Minimum 12 years of industry experience in senior/lead estimator positions.
  • •Fully versed in cost estimating principles, techniques, and industry-standard tools.
  • •Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
