Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end real estate procurement for nationwide rollout, including market search, property evaluation, lease negotiation, due diligence, and contract finalization.
  • •Develop and execute centralized procurement strategy and category management for multi-site branch rollouts and retrofits, including building a pre-qualified vendor matrix.
  • •Coordinate technical collaboration and cost control by reviewing drawings/specifications, maintaining rates logs, supporting value engineering, and validating physical space transformations.
  • •Source and procure specialized high-security and MEP/infrastructure items (e.g., security doors, mantrap doors, HVAC and power solutions) and manage tendering and contract awards for trades.
  • •Structure and manage ITTs/RFPs, support commercial negotiations for credit terms and guarantees, partner with legal/risk to draft SLAs and construction/engineering contracts, and oversee vendor onboarding and compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •4-7 years of progressive procurement and strategic sourcing experience, including capital projects and corporate real estate acquisition/fit-out procurement.
  • •Proven experience leading commercial property searches, site selection, corporate acquisitions, and high-stakes lease negotiations for refurbishment and retrofitting.
  • •Extensive procurement experience within a commercial bank (preferably branch network rollouts), a high-growth fintech with physical operational touchpoints, or a tier-1 construction/project management firm in Nigeria.
  • •Experience navigating Nigeria’s regional supply chains and local market constraints across multiple geopolitical regions.
  • •Ability to read and audit Bills of Quantities and manage contractual knowledge of construction and commercial lease frameworks, including specialized clauses.
