Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement capabilities spanning the cloud control plane, Linux appliance runtime, telemetry pipeline, and deployment environments.
  • •Develop and harden the appliance dataplane and Linux-based networking capabilities using IPsec, MASQUE, eBPF, and Linux kernel networking primitives.
  • •Build distributed control-plane and state-management systems for safe configuration delivery, intermittent connectivity tolerance, and convergence to known-good state.
  • •Secure the device lifecycle with hardware-backed identity, attestation, secure boot, immutable OS images, credential rotation, and staged OTA upgrades with safe rollback.
  • •Own production outcomes by prototyping, shipping in safe increments, monitoring, incident follow-up, and long-term maintainability; lead across teams with architectural proposals and reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating complex production systems.
  • •Strong software engineering in Rust, Go, TypeScript, or a comparable language, with willingness to work across the stack.
  • •Strong Linux systems and networking knowledge, including secure transport such as IPsec, WireGuard, GRE, or MASQUE.
  • •Experience building Linux-based systems and cloud services, with ability to debug customer-visible failures across boundaries.
  • •Experience designing distributed control planes and state-management systems for large, intermittently connected fleets.
