Job Summary

Manage materials allocation and availability for construction work-packs across the procurement-to-construction cycle. Build and maintain tagged material catalogues, validate quantities against BOMs, perform material take-offs, and execute substitutions. Coordinate engineering changes, quarantine/receipt inspections, and materials status reporting (MSR). Work within the Supply Chain team, interfacing with Procurement, engineering, QA/QC, document control, fabrication contractors, HSSE, and client representatives on an ADNOC oil & gas project.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage materials allocation to construction work-packs and provide timely information on material/equipment/service availability across the procurement-to-construction cycle.
•Establish and maintain tagged material catalogues; verify quantity accuracy by cross-checking piping isometric faces against BOMs.
•Perform valve and specialty item take-offs from Issued for Review (IFR) through Issued for Construction (IFC) P&IDs.
•Execute material substitution using surplus items to optimize project utilization and manage engineering changes aligned to current requirements.
•Manage quarantine and receipt inspection OS&D and prepare detailed materials status reports (MSR) by project reporting deadlines.

Key Requirements

•Handle and store materials per company/client procedures, ensuring transactions are auditable and purchase orders are closed out promptly.
•3+ years’ experience on large Oil & Gas brown field contracts, including 3 years+ in a senior/supervisory position.
•Have construction project materials coordination experience, including interfacing with suppliers, engineering, QA/QC, document control, procurement, and client representatives.
•Operate a computerised materials control system and maintain accurate materials management reporting.
•Be proficient in English and computer literate in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; support mentoring/developing team skills.
