Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect job orders and the required tools/equipment/materials to carry out repairs and maintenance using approved manufacturer techniques.
  • •Ensure accurate fault diagnosis and efficient use of allocated repair time; report repair delays to the Team Leader.
  • •Ensure additional repairs are authorized and parts are booked to the repair order, including warranty repair/parts exchange handling and returns to parts department.
  • •Service personal tools, keep lifts and the work area clean, and comply with health and safety standards.
  • •Maintain repair-order documentation and system clocking on/off; return/store unused parts properly and dispose used parts responsibly; work extra hours when needed for customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Automotive Engineering.
  • •Industrial Technical Institute (ITI) certified Auto Technician Course (2-year vocational course).
  • •2 to 3 years technician experience (for Diploma holders) or 3 to 5 years technician experience (for ITI holders).
  • •Basic electrical knowledge in addition to mechanical skills.
  • •Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with attendance of basic technical courses from vehicle manufacturing companies.
