Job Summary

Provide math remediation and targeted instruction for at-risk students as part of the MTSS intervention team. Adapt the K12 curriculum to meet state standards, run individualized and small-group sessions, and collaborate with general education teachers. Oversee RTI data collection and progress monitoring across tiers, guide instructional planning with data, support teachers and parents with strategies, and coordinate Tier 2 interventions with staff. This is a virtual role based in North Carolina with some travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Modify and/or adapt the K12 curriculum to meet each student’s unique needs aligned to state content standards.
•Collaborate with general education teachers through individualized and small group sessions to meet targeted student goals.
•Ensure implementation of the RTI instructional system to increase student achievement.
•Oversee data collection and progress monitoring at every tier; use data to guide whole and small group instruction and support grouping decisions.
•Collect and maintain RTI data (eligible student lists and intervention plans) and serve as a daily resource to stakeholders regarding RTI issues.

Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 46,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree AND active state teaching license.
•Middle Math Teaching Certification required (North Carolina).
•Ability to clear required background check.
•Ability to collaborate with other teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data and use it for instructional decisions.
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
