Job Summary

Own Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs for the plant in Charlotte, ensuring regulatory compliance with OSHA and EPA and other state/local requirements. Maintain OSHA records, metrics, and corrective action plans; conduct operational hazard assessments and lead Job Safety Analysis (JSA) efforts. Train personnel on safety requirements and support workers’ compensation claim investigations. Partner with engineering and other plant functions to embed EHS considerations across operations and design changes.

•Enforce EHS regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other state/local requirements to meet company objectives.
•Maintain OSHA 300 logs and injury/illness metrics; develop corrective action plans to prevent repeat issues.
•Perform operational hazard assessments, evaluate engineering controls/protective equipment, and recommend corrective actions.
•Train personnel on mandatory OSHA compliance, first aid responders, and operational hazard-specific training; lead safety meetings and new-hire safety sessions.
•Support workers’ compensation claim management by investigating claims and recommending preventative measures; act as an EHS representative to regulatory agencies and auditors.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,600 - 124,500 annually
