Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze and review relevant legislation and internal/congressional reports to assess relevance, impact, and constraints.
  • •Draft congressional deliverables including reports, RFIs, Q&As, and talking points for Administration and Congress.
  • •Track congressional reporting requirements and coordinate with State and USAID bureaus to ensure requests and reporting are met.
  • •Draft and manage funding approval and reprogramming memo packages; track funds requested/appropriated/allocated/obligated/expended for reporting.
  • •Collaborate with stakeholders to review operational plans and strategic documentation, build tracking/reporting systems, and support consolidated policy, plans, budgets, and implementation mechanisms.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree; master’s preferred in Accounting, Finance, International Relations, Political Science, Business, or Public Administration (or related) and/or 2–5 years’ experience.
  • •Experience working with the Department of State, USAID, or Congress.
  • •Experience in international relations/foreign policy, foreign assistance budgeting, financial management, or program management (European/East European affairs, congressional affairs, fragile states, political transitions preferred).
  • •Strong English written and spoken communications skills.
  • •Active Secret Clearance.
