Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with due diligence, investigation, remediation, impact assessment, permitting, design, development, and construction support for electrical systems.
  • •Develop and review electrical distribution system designs and documentation including single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, layouts, grounding, surge protection, and lightning protection.
  • •Perform electrical engineering analysis and studies such as load analysis, short circuit, protective device coordination, and arc flash (SCCAF), plus energy assessments (COMcheck).
  • •Create Basis of Design (BOD) narratives and support plans/specifications and review cost estimates, phasing plans, and infrastructure layout updates.
  • •Coordinate with owners, other disciplines, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies; prepare reports/presentations and provide guidance to entry-level engineers, ensuring QA/QC compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • •5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience delivering electrical design work for large capital projects.

  • •Ability to perform technical computations and calculations from plans/specifications and apply applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
