Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Technical Manager with daily maintenance activities and provide direction/training to employees in lesser responsibilities.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and process problems for production and support equipment, including electronics to the component level.
  • •Troubleshoot PLC issues, including code modifications and program loading/reloading; maintain and update PLC software/programs with backups and current versions.
  • •Maintain and upgrade electrical systems including AC/DC drives and inverters, and configure/tune servo drive motors/controls; perform designs and electromechanical upgrades.
  • •Provide preventative maintenance, 24/7 technical support, conduct inspections, maintain updated drawings/diagrams/schematics, and support contractors for equipment repair/install/upgrade.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or certificate in electrical/electronics technology or equivalent preferred.
  • •8+ years of industrial maintenance experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
  • •Journeyman certification preferred.
  • •Experience with blown film manufacturing and converting equipment is a plus.
  • •Ability to read/understand mechanical and electrical blueprints, drawings, and schematics; work with minimal supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
