Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and develop core AI Agent functionalities with high-performance, fault-tolerant, high-availability backend systems integrated into Zoom’s platform.
  • •Design and implement distributed system components and APIs for multimodal AI Agents covering real-time communication, meeting automation, and intelligent task management.
  • •Collaborate with product managers, designers, and AI researchers to integrate LLM-based capabilities into enterprise collaboration workflows.
  • •Mentor global engineering teams on distributed system optimization, database design, and microservice deployment.
  • •Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and contribute to architecture design reviews and technical roadmaps for AI Agent Experience products.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 260,000 - 332,200

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
  • •3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • •In-depth understanding of AI Agent architecture, including distributed system design and integration with front-end and AI model services.
  • •Advanced proficiency in Python and Java backend systems, including microservices, API frameworks, and data orchestration pipelines.
  • •Strong background in database optimization and middleware (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB; Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch), plus container/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and familiarity with LLM frameworks/tools (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Copilot, Cursor).
