Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead cross-discipline Project Controls teams on high risk, high complexity, high value projects or programmes.
  • •Define scope and coordinate scope decomposition to enable Work Breakdown Structure and manage change control.
  • •Establish performance measurement baseline, integrate scope/cost/risk/schedule, and analyse performance including Earned Value Management.
  • •Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to set supplier project controls contract requirements, integrate and analyse supplier performance data, and liaise with Finance for EAC/forecasting profiles.
  • •Ensure governance and quality of team outputs, drive quantitative risk analysis and recovery planning, and mentor/coach team members to improve capability.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be a SOLE UK National who can achieve and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC).
  • •Proven track record delivering projects in highly regulated sectors such as defence or infrastructure.
  • •Project Controls experience across the whole project lifecycle, with two or more disciplines including planning/scheduling, cost estimation, cost control, risk management, or performance reporting.
  • •Strong understanding of integrated project controls operating model and ability to make risk-based decisions under unclear parameters.
  • •Undergraduate degree in a relevant technical or management field (or suitable equivalent qualifications and experience), plus membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., APM or PMI).
