Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide real-time phone support to address technical issues on training center flight simulators.
  • •Prepare simulators for customer training, including pre-flight tests.
  • •Execute recurring scheduled preventive maintenance and aircraft validation tests (QTG).
  • •Diagnose and resolve complex simulator deficiencies, identify/replace defective components, and validate snag fixes on-device.
  • •Maintain and document configuration control, log work in CMMS, update technical documentation, and support technical training and improvement projects.

Key Requirements

  • •2-year technical degree or equivalent related training.
  • •7 years direct simulator experience with at least 5 years relative to simulators per assigned location.
  • •Advanced experience troubleshooting to the system level on multiple simulator types.
  • •Expert experience interpreting diagnostics on multiple simulator types and operating test equipment.
  • •Expert skills in soldering and circuit board repair, plus advanced PC and MS-Office skills.
