Own the roadmap and adoption of Wise’s new data lakehouse platform, the foundation for analytics, reporting, fraud detection, workforce management, and emerging big data use cases. Partner with a dedicated engineering team to turn technical ambiguity into staged plans with measurable outcomes, improve onboarding and data quality, and define performance, cost, and trust metrics that make teams choose the platform.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the data lake product roadmap and delivery, including the move from existing systems to a modern lakehouse.
•Treat internal teams as customers by understanding platform needs and shaping the roadmap around delivered value.
•Drive adoption by ensuring workloads move with faster, cheaper, and more trustworthy outcomes compared to where data previously lived.
•Onboard teams to the platform, identify where they struggle, and translate those findings into product improvements.
•Define and track key measures such as adoption, query performance and cost, data quality incidents, and user trust; build metadata, ownership, and access controls.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 75,000 - 93,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Around 3 to 5 years of product experience (or a mix of product and hands-on data work) with at least two platform products shipped end to end.
•Background in data infrastructure, having built or worked closely with pipelines, warehouses, or lakes, and comfort working with SQL.
•Ability to turn ambiguous technical work into a clear, staged roadmap with measurable outcomes.
•Experience working closely with engineers, plus communication skills to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical colleagues.
•Enjoy speaking with data users, observing where they struggle, and translating insights into product improvements.
