Job Summary

Design and implement ETL pipelines using batch/streaming tooling on GCP, ensuring data quality, performance, scalability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design and implementation of ETL processes using batch/streaming tools to extract, transform, and load data into GCP.
•Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response.
•Integrate and manage data from diverse sources (databases, APIs, flat files) while maintaining data quality and consistency in GCP.
•Develop GCP Dataflow jobs using Apache Beam for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
•Implement automation, monitoring, and alerting for ETL workflows (e.g., Airflow/Cloud Composer), and maintain documentation and security/compliance practices.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
•Proven experience designing and managing ETL solutions, including data modeling, data warehousing, and SQL development.
•Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related field, including system architecture and cloud technologies.
•Experience with cloud-based solutions, especially GCP (GCP cloud certification preferred).
•Experience with big data processing in batch and streaming modes (e.g., Hadoop, HBase, Hive, MapReduce, Kafka, Flink, Spark) and familiarity with Java and Python for data manipulation.
