Job Summary

Join the Fabrication team in Leighton Buzzard to produce high-quality aerospace interior components. You’ll operate and set up fabrication equipment such as press brakes and Trumpf CNC punch systems, adjust tooling for optimum performance, and act as the primary focal point for the fabrication cell. The role includes driving day-to-day throughput, resolving floor issues, mentoring operators, deputising for the supervisor, and supporting continuous improvement while monitoring KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate and set up fabrication equipment to produce components per engineering drawings and specifications.
•Optimize equipment settings and tooling to ensure product quality.
•Serve as the primary focal point for the fabrication cell, supporting operational excellence and troubleshooting.
•Coordinate resources to execute the tactical day plan and meet throughput targets, removing bottlenecks and maintaining flow.
•Mentor operators, deputise for the supervisor when needed, collaborate across teams, drive continuous improvement, and monitor/report KPIs.

Key Requirements

•Operate and set up fabrication equipment (e.g., press brakes, welding, Trumpf CNC punch) to produce components to specifications.
