Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team designing, building, and maintaining electrical power systems for new power generation projects.
  • •Provide detailed electrical design and specifications for power distribution, switchgear/MCC, lighting, UPS, generators, transfer switches, power monitoring, communications/control networks, grounding, fire alarm, and lightning protection systems.
  • •Support power plant technicians and operators by troubleshooting electrical equipment and controllers.
  • •Conduct engineering design, operation support, and troubleshooting for electrical power distribution systems, including load flow analysis and equipment evaluation.
  • •Ensure electrical designs and installations conform to applicable codes/standards and coordinate installation/maintenance with local electrical utilities personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or another engineering discipline.
  • •3+ years of professional experience on electrical projects including power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS systems, and/or generators.
  • •Experience leading electrical projects and delivering electrical design/specifications for power generation plant systems.
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • •Ability to read and understand power and control schematics and highly technical equipment O&M manuals.
