Key Responsibilities

  • •Float to all hatchery departments as needed based on production requirements, with duties changing daily.
  • •Perform chick processing tasks, including grading and vaccinating, beak treatment (robot operation), dub males, despur males, and toe trim.
  • •Operate equipment as required, including box washer, macerator, and other assigned machinery (e.g., Coccivac).
  • •Support related egg room activities such as packing/unpacking eggs and washing boxes; maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • •Relieve team members on the line for breaks and fill in during labor shortages while maintaining a safe work environment.
