Job Summary

Join AMD to improve how we deliver high-quality silicon technologies to market. You’ll contribute to back-end physical design and related verification, including floorplanning, power-plan implementation, synthesis, placement, CTS, timing closure, routing, extraction, DRC/LVS, crosstalk analysis, and EM/IR. You’ll also work with PNR/STA toolflows (e.g., Synopsys and Mentor Graphics) and author methodology scripts using Tcl, Perl, and/or Python.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive back-end physical design tasks including floorplanning, power-plan implementation, synthesis, placement, CTS, routing, and extraction.
•Contribute to timing closure and STA activities to meet performance goals.
•Perform physical verification including DRC and LVS.
•Analyze crosstalk and address EM/IR considerations during implementation and verification.
•Handle PNR/STA toolflows and author methodology scripts in Tcl, Perl, and/or Python.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: INR 2,186,520 - 3,123,600 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years professional experience in the semiconductor industry.
•Experience with FinFET and dual patterning nodes (16/14/12) and sub-10nm nodes.
•Strong physical design and timing background, including STA and timing closure.
•Experience with PNR tools such as Synopsys Design Compiler, ICC2/ICC, Fusion Compiler, PrimeTime, StarRC, Mentor Graphics Calibre, and Apache Redhawk.
•Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering or Electrical Engineering.
