Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead coordination of non-standard HW/SW delivery across technical SMEs across domains such as systems, database, middleware, and network.
  • •Manage multiple end-to-end initiatives across Visa Technology and Product groups aligned to strategic business objectives.
  • •Own program performance, compliance with management and information security policies, and communicate status/escalations to senior leadership.
  • •Manage scope, change control, estimates, budgets vs. actual spend, schedules, and proactively mitigate risks to protect milestones and deliverables.
  • •Drive decision-making through clear, concise meetings with the right partners; collaborate with virtual teams across time zones and cultures.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or at least 2 years with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years with a PhD; alternatively, 8+ years relevant experience.
  • •6–10 years of experience in technical program management or solution architecture practices enabling infrastructure (HW/SW) design, development, and deployment.
  • •Demonstrated leadership in architecture planning and infrastructure projects for high-availability, high-volume service platforms.
  • •Experience with architecture and project management tools.
  • •Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile (Scrum, XP, Lean, Kanban) methodologies (preferred) and willingness to coach and mentor a team.
