Senior Mechanical Engineer, Warfighter Systems

Develop and support a new Army vision system by designing mechanical components for wearable, tactical hardware. Own the end-to-end prototyping and evaluation efforts using multi-spectral sensor requirements, thermal management, and ballistic protection constraints, while balancing SWAP-C needs with human factors and comfort. Perform mechanical design for traditional and additive manufacturing, run early structural/thermal trade studies, and incorporate ruggedization and production-ready packaging decisions.
