Key Responsibilities

  • •Technically lead the sustenance team for Network Automation and Orchestration products, maintaining and enhancing core capabilities.
  • •Own the sustenance engineering lifecycle, including defect resolution, product enhancements, and maintenance releases with design, code, and unit/integration test artifacts.
  • •Drive engineering excellence through effective debugging, root-cause analysis, code quality, regression testing, and automation of repetitive maintenance tasks.
  • •Analyze production issues and customer-reported defects to establish root causes and drive timely resolution with cross-functional partners.
  • •Mentor team members on troubleshooting, design principles, coding standards, testing practices, and problem-solving.

Key Requirements

  • •8–13 years experience across the full product life cycle, including ownership of defect resolution and maintenance releases.
  • •Strong microservices architecture background with hands-on Docker, Kubernetes (K8s, K3s), and Helm.
  • •Strong Java or Golang coding and debugging experience, including Linux proficiency and deep understanding of multi-threading and network programming.
  • •Experience with data, messaging, and APIs: RDBMS/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, Redis, MariaDB), RabbitMQ/Kafka, and webhook/web socket work.
  • •Knowledge of cloud networking protocols and telemetry: OpenAPI/OpenConfig/NETCONF, streaming telemetry, GNMI, gRPC, XMPP, and L2/L3 concepts like 802.1Q, VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, and routing/ACLs.
