Key Responsibilities

  • •Build trusted relationships with senior managers across the ZM/Retail MFU, providing proactive insight, constructive challenge, and commercially literate compliance opinions.
  • •Develop enterprise insight into strategic priorities, business plans, and customer journeys to anticipate compliance risks and shape solutions for safe, sustainable growth.
  • •Translate regulatory expectations into practical guidance by helping the MFU apply Zurich’s Compliance Risk Universe and FCA expectations (including Consumer Duty, Product Governance & Oversight, and Third Party Oversight).
  • •Produce crisp, decision-ready written Advice Notes for senior stakeholders and governance forums, articulating options, trade-offs, implications, and clear recommendations.
  • •Coordinate Compliance engagement across SME teams to deliver clear, decision-ready written advice while maintaining second-line independence and avoiding duplication or drift.
