Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Superintending Officer (SO) in remediation contract administration for land decontamination/ clean-up projects.
  • •Act as a liaison between Client and Contractor; work with Project Manager to inspect and monitor contractor’s progress.
  • •Gather information and analyze outputs from contractor’s work (soil/groundwater treatment, sampling, monitoring, etc.).
  • •Conduct validation reviews of contractor deliverables against technical and contractual requirements.
  • •Assist in risk identification and mitigation; handle disputes and contractual matters including EOT and loss/expense claims.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma, Specialist Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related fields. 1-2 sentences max.
  • •Up to 3 years of work experience in construction site supervision, civil infrastructure or building development management.
  • •Demonstrated experience in managing subcontractors and resolving site and civil works related issues.
  • •Demonstrated experience delivering projects under PSSCOC or similar forms of contract is desirable.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; growth mindset and ability to work in a team.
