Key Responsibilities

  • •Technically lead structural aspects of projects, supporting project managers and teams to deliver within scope, budget, timeframe, and quality standards.
  • •Lead a design team of junior and mid-level Structures staff, providing mentorship, direction, motivation, coaching, and guidance.
  • •Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure fully coordinated design deliverables with no design gaps, including support of construction supervision.
  • •Produce and manage structural design outputs including calculations, drawings, reports, design development, design review, and design documentation.
  • •Interface with clients on schedules, meetings, and issues; anticipate schedule or priority delays and initiate alternative actions; conduct technical reviews/audits and follow HSE requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural), preferably M.Eng or MSc.Eng, plus at least 8 years’ experience post-qualification.
  • •Professionally registered with ECSA as Pr.Eng for at least 3 years.
  • •Working knowledge of Revit and structural design programs such as Tekla Structural Designer, ETABS, SAP2000, Robot, RFEM, and Idea Statica.
  • •Ability to lead and delegate tasks, supervise others, and provide coaching and guidance to less experienced staff.
  • •Experience with American and/or European design codes is preferred.
