Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide ongoing maintenance of simulator systems for the Koninklijke Landmacht as part of a self-directed team.
  • •Handle daily startup and shutdown activities while keeping simulators operational.
  • •Perform fault handling and preventive maintenance for the systems.
  • •Troubleshoot and resolve issues requiring creative, hands-on thinking, including replacing modules and components.
  • •Support deployments of some systems elsewhere in the country or abroad, including accompanying an engineer for 2–3 weeks per year. (via rotation)

Key Requirements

  • •MBO+ work-and-thinking level in the field of electrical engineering, with demonstrable experience.
  • •Experience in mechanics, ICT, and/or familiarity with VCA/VOL (VCA/VOL is a plus).
  • •Willingness to travel occasionally for the job within the Netherlands and abroad.
  • •Good communication skills in NL/EN due to direct customer contact and working with training units.
  • •Driver’s license B is required.
