Build and scale Netflix’s ad-supported ecosystem for members, advertisers, and internal ad teams. You’ll work across the Ads Engineering organization, helping deliver high-performance ad serving, identity and audience privacy-safe experiences, measurement and reporting, inventory forecasting, and campaign/order management. Use Netflix innovations and modern cloud applications to design technical directions, influence architecture, and ship reliable systems that monetize Netflix’s content and improve outcomes for advertisers.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop advanced technologies that deliver exceptional experiences for both members and advertisers.
•Build and improve ad systems spanning ad serving, audience/identity management, measurement, reporting, and finance.
•Deliver engineering initiatives at a fast pace with visibility and accountability.
•Design scalable solutions using Netflix innovations such as client and server-side ad insertions and content delivery systems.
•Support teams and partner functions across Ads Engineering to ensure consistent campaign execution and advertiser brand safety.

Key Requirements

•Deep domain experience in ad serving, ads identity & audiences, ads creatives, inventory & forecasting, campaign management, media planning, measurement/reporting, or ads finance.
•Comfort building cloud-based applications using modern programming languages (preferably object oriented).
•Experience partnering with ad operations to enable campaign setup, targeting, reporting, and advertiser needs.
•Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation.
•Ability to set technical directions for engineering projects, make architectural decisions, and influence partner and cross-functional teams.
