Key Responsibilities

  • •Use tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations, and perform repairs.
  • •Provide preventive maintenance and repairs for equipment such as power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors when required.
  • •Work individually or with other technicians to set up and operate equipment at shop and customer sites.
  • •Maintain complete electronic paperwork/work orders daily, and assist with pickup and delivery of equipment and parts as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience maintaining, inspecting, and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/understand schematics.
  • •Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 to operate a company vehicle.
