Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the legal and compliance function by developing and executing legal strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • •Provide proactive, business-oriented legal counsel across commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, mergers & acquisitions, intellectual property, and risk management.
  • •Drive compliance frameworks for anti-corruption, trade sanctions/export control, fair competition, and data privacy, strengthening governance and best practices.
  • •Oversee dispute resolution and litigation matters in coordination with external counsel, including monitoring regulatory developments.
  • •Lead and develop the legal team and oversee company secretarial responsibilities for India cluster companies; also lead CSR initiatives aligned with statutory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Over 10-15 years of relevant legal experience in in-house and/or private practice environments.
  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) or higher.
  • •Qualified Company Secretary (ACS/FCS).
  • •Proven experience negotiating complex, high-value commercial contracts with multinational organizations.
  • •Demonstrated experience training, mentoring, or leading legal professionals.
