Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical inputs in delivery of complex drainage and/or flood engineering projects across major infrastructure and development sectors.
  • •Deliver drainage designs and stormwater management plans, and perform hydraulic modelling for client and infrastructure projects.
  • •Provide specialised input into hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using tools such as Civil 3D, 12D, and TUFLOW and related software.
  • •Develop practical solutions to complex drainage, flooding, and water quality challenges.
  • •Support project teams with technical guidance, mentoring, quality assurance, and client/regulator/stakeholder engagement, including compliant alignment with Australian standards and guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven drainage/flood modelling industry experience (circa 5–15 years+) in stormwater/drainage planning, hydraulic assessment and design, and/or hydrologic modelling/assessments.
  • •Confident use of software tools such as Civil 3D or 12d and/or TUFLOW (or similar), plus URBS and/or XP-Rafts (or similar), and QGIS and/or ArcGIS.
  • •Strong technical capability across underground and surface water drainage systems.
  • •RPEQ or ability to apply for RPEQ (preferred).
  • •Proven ability to provide technical leadership, design review, and mentoring, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
