Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide real-time oversight of DHA-supported research protocols through timely documented reviews to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • •Perform regulatory-based written reviews and comprehensive evaluations of protocol lifecycle actions using standardized checklists and guidance.
  • •Identify deficiencies and noncompliance, and make recommendations to OHRO federal approval authorities on regulatory and ethical issues.
  • •Support noncompliance investigations, compliance inspections, and staff assistance visits, including preparation of materials and after-action reports.
  • •Travel to support compliance oversight as needed (minimal travel) and assist in developing and updating policies, procedures, and guidance for human research protection compliance.
