Key Responsibilities

  • •Adhere to MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply safety rules and regulations.
  • •Complete daily safety assignments such as area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA’s, and TRACK.
  • •Learn capital project planning, budgeting, and management, along with maintenance activities and process improvement.
  • •Understand mine planning, mine overview concepts, and preventative/predictive maintenance programs.
  • •Support quality control learning (sampling/testing procedures) and review process KPIs, production reports, and dispatching/plant-to-customer workflows as applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical Engineering major; current sophomore or junior.
  • •Desired 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • •Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • •Willing and able to travel to plant locations; mobility to attend meetings/events at offsite locations.
  • •Ability to submit to a drug screen and criminal background check (and have a current driver’s license for travel).
