Key Responsibilities

•Oversee daily operations of asphalt paving crews and supervise/schedule work crews.
•Be the site safety champion, ensuring safety for crew members and the public while enforcing company policies and procedures.
•Coordinate and plan daily work activities including production targets, job site organization, and interpretation of plans/work orders/specifications.
•Manage quality by coordinating quality control testing and ensuring overall quality of finished product.
•Maintain job costing records (timecards, equipment/labor hours, progress quantities), perform field measurements, and order required supplies/materials as needed.

Key Requirements

•5-10 years of related asphalt paving experience (or equivalent combination of education and training) and a high school diploma or GED preferred.
•Thorough knowledge of the asphalt paving industry, means, and methods.
•Ability to supervise and lead crew members.
•Ability to understand plans, specifications, and grades and coordinate quality and production targets.
•Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, EPA, and CDL laws/procedures and must demonstrate safety awareness while complying with company policies.
