Key Responsibilities

  • •Set the vision and drive the roadmap for how principals, humans, agents, and apps get access to Stripe accounts.
  • •Design the experience for granting access across signup, inviting teammates, creating API keys, and authorizing agents and third-party apps.
  • •Make agents first-class by defining agent authentication, permissions, and control mechanisms including approvals and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
  • •Drive least-privilege by building custom roles, smart permission defaults, and usage-based recommendations to simplify secure choices.
  • •Partner across Stripe teams and run experiments using real usage to iterate quickly on authorization and identity product outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in product management, shipping platform or infrastructure products that others build on.
  • •Background in security, identity, auth, or developer platforms (or serious curiosity about the space).
  • •A habit of talking to users to find the real problem, not the reported one.
  • •Technical fluency to work with engineers on authorization and authentication design.
  • •A bias toward experimentation and comfort setting direction in an evolving space across teams you don’t manage.
