Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as liaison between store teams and corporate headquarters by communicating priorities and feedback on challenges.
  • •Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve or exceed sales, profit/loss, and company objectives.
  • •Ensure operational excellence across stores by enforcing policies, merchandising standards, and operating procedures.
  • •Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate store managers to build a high-performance team and talent pipeline.
  • •Analyze financial reports, manage budgets and inventory, and conduct monthly profit and loss reviews to identify improvements and revenue opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years preferred retail management experience, preferably in a lumber and building materials or home center environment.
  • •Proven experience leading and supervising team members, with ability to motivate, lead, and develop a diverse team across locations.
  • •Strong understanding of P&L metrics and ability to execute on KPIs to drive sales and profit.
  • •Operational expertise in inventory control and ability to train store leadership on proper techniques and guidelines.
  • •Ability to travel frequently (often 75%+), including overnight stays, and to work 45+ hours per week.
