Job Summary

Work as part of a residential solar installation construction team to complete end-to-end solar projects. Partner with the Foreperson and Lead Installer to ensure safety, review inventory, assemble modules and racking, apply weather sealing, and perform jobsite clean-up. Help meet due dates and project metrics while participating in training on new products, installation methodology, and safety. This role supports Sunrun’s Power+ program and job stability in a seasonal industry.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure personal, crew, and job site safety at all times and participate in training on new products, installation methodology, and safety.
•Review inventory at the loading dock to ensure the assigned crew truck is stocked adequately.
•Complete layout and assemble solar modules, racking, mounts, electrical equipment, and tools as specified in the project plan.
•Apply weather sealing to roofing structures, building elements, or support mechanisms.
•Perform project clean up, including client site and installation vehicle, to keep the job site clean and orderly.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 22.81 - 30.42 hourly

•Previous solar, construction, or military experience preferred but not required.
•Ability to work outdoors and on rooftops, including climbing ladders and performing physically demanding tasks (lifting materials and moving on roofs).
