Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify wear, malfunctions, and deviations from normal.
  • •Identify, assess, and repair faulty equipment and damaged structures using root-cause, fact-based troubleshooting to determine failure sources.
  • •Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures; plan, schedule, and perform preventative inspections, replacements, or repairs.
  • •Manage heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality; conduct periodic quality/performance checks against design/OEM specs and standards.
  • •Perform general maintenance tasks (e.g., landscaping, painting, carpentry), use material-handling equipment, apply lock-out/tag-out devices, and maintain work-area cleanliness/orderliness.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (or equivalent education/experience), including some formal training such as military training.
  • •3+ years of maintenance experience (5+ years manufacturing experience preferred).
  • •Strong mechanical skills, including repair/replacement of pneumatic/hydraulic components or actuators, conveyance/lift devices, and valves/piping/tubing with gaskets or seals.
  • •Comprehension of schematics/blueprints, with ability to draw/sketch mechanical devices and a small circuit.
  • •Basic electrical skills and experience using a CMMS (work orders, entering data, times).
