Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply technical training to perform basic calculations and learn new skills while working effectively in a team.
  • •Assist with design, analysis, rehabilitation, and inspection of highway bridges and ancillary transportation structures.
  • •Support preliminary to final design calculations and plan development.
  • •Review field information and assist with possible field inspections of existing facilities.
  • •Assist with general office administration, including technical report reproduction.

Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and completed at least 2 years of study.
  • •Must be pursuing (or planning to continue with) an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the end of the internship.
  • •Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License and willingness to pass AECOM’s motor vehicle records review.
  • •Some basic coursework in steel and concrete design.
