Job Summary

AECOM seeks Drainage Engineers and Designers at multiple levels to join our Southeast transportation team. You’ll work on large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects, applying drainage design expertise (storm drain, cross-culvert analysis, hydrology, ditch design) using Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads, on hybrid roles based out of southern US offices. Collaborate on mega-projects to deliver safe, cost-effective highway drainage solutions.

Job Function: Design (Product/UX/UI/Visual)

Key Responsibilities

•Design and analysis of highway drainage including storm drain design, cross culvert analysis and design, hydrology, ditch design, bridge deck drainage, and temporary drainage
•Apply drainage engineering knowledge on large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery projects
•Utilize Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads for detailed CAD design work
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on mega-projects to deliver safe and cost-effective outcomes
•Provide drainage design support and serve as drainage CAD designer as needed

Key Requirements

•CAD Designers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
•Preferred Qualifications: EIT Certification or PE License; State DOT experience
