Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare concise civil engineering drawings from sketches and design information without assistance.
  • •Comply with CAD standards and relevant quality systems, using techniques and procedures for the specialization.
  • •Undertake reviews of engineering drawings to ensure compliance with CAD standards and quality systems.
  • •Manage and control drafting aspects of projects, including deliverables planning, resource management, and communication with engineering/drafting staff.
  • •Mentor and train less experienced drafters, manage quality of others’ work, and support HR performance evaluation procedures. Ensure SHEQ compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma of Engineering or Advanced Diploma of Engineering (equivalent Senior Technical Associate – CADD).
  • •At least eight (8) years of relevant civil drafting experience.
  • •High-level drafting and detailing skills for civil engineering drawings.
  • •High-level use and understanding of CAD software and how it applies (AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise).
  • •Proficiency in Civil 3D is an advantage.
