Job Summary

Deliver rental equipment safely and efficiently by operating a truck and trailer, following routes and safety regulations, and coordinating loading and unloading at customer sites. Use the company’s technology to access real-time fleet locations, work orders, and delivery details. Maintain required paperwork, perform routine truck service checks, and support yard trailer staging while working a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime and possible on-call shifts.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate the vehicle in accordance with state and federal transportation laws, traffic rules, and safety regulations.
•Transport loads safely and in a timely manner along required routes while following delivery and safety procedures.
•Maneuver truck/trailer into loading and unloading areas and assist with loading/unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment when needed.
•Maintain and deliver required documentation, including invoices and bills of lading, to the appropriate parties after delivery.
•Facilitate routine truck service checks and report maintenance issues to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

•Hold a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle operated.

•Pass a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
•Provide strong interpersonal and customer service skills when speaking professionally with customers and staff at delivery points.
•Be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and remain focused in a busy environment.
