Job Summary

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment during night shift to keep plant operations running safely and efficiently. Perform preventative maintenance, support equipment projects and expansions, coordinate with outside contractors for installation/service, and help reduce downtime by supporting scheduled cleaning and changeovers. Follow plant policies and document work using maintenance logs and reports.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and systems to ensure smooth, safe operations.
•Perform preventative maintenance to help prevent downtime and equipment/plant deterioration.
•Complete assigned project work supporting plant growth, expansion, and a safe environment.
•Coordinate with outside contractors for installation or service of equipment within the facility.
•Support machine operators to minimize downtime and complete scheduled cleaning or changeovers of equipment.

Key Requirements

•Associates degree in a related field preferred.
•2+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

•Ability to troubleshoot and repair vacuum conveying systems and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
•Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics and operate a mill/lathe (previous extrusion and PLC experience is a plus).
