Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead complex water resources projects, from planning and modeling through detailed design and construction supervision.
  • •Identify and pursue new business opportunities; coordinate and participate in client presentations; promote AECOM’s capabilities to win and grow a project portfolio.
  • •Evaluate project opportunities, support consultant selection, and contribute to capture strategies and go/no-go decisions for proposals.
  • •Coordinate contract negotiations and draft complex professional service agreements and addenda with review by senior management.
  • •Direct project teams and monitor subcontractor compliance; develop project scope, work plan, schedule, and budget; mentor and help grow local staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineer in Oregon and/or Washington (or ability to obtain PE license within 6 months of hire).
  • •Proven experience delivering water resources engineering work from planning through modeling, detailed design, and construction supervision.
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects with technical credibility and to contribute to business development through client relationships and proposal wins.
  • •Strong proficiency with water resources modeling and tools, including hydrologic/hydraulic concepts and experience using digital platforms (e.g., AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microstation, ArcGIS).
