Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform hatchery tasks such as pulling chicks, grading chicks, handling breakouts and washing trays/machines, and setting eggs.
  • •Mix vaccines and dispense formaldehyde; run embrex machines and help with related tray and egg tasks.
  • •Conduct machine checks by following instructions and documenting findings.
  • •Maintain safety at all times, keep work areas free of clutter/tripping hazards, and organize equipment.
  • •Start generators and complete basic maintenance on machines when issues arise, and communicate with management/maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be able to lift/push 40+ pounds and perform physical tasks during 10-hour shifts with standing and bending/twisting.
