Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive CMP technology development and enablement for high-volume manufacturing and future technology, including process integration and feasibility studies for device specifications.
  • •Lead design and development of manufacturing processes, including reverse engineering, material selection, parameter optimization, equipment metrology, and system design.
  • •Perform pathfinding for process and hardware development, support innovative device architectures, and develop technology roadmaps.
  • •Recommend and implement operating equipment modifications to improve production efficiency, manufacturing techniques, and output for existing products.
  • •Partner with equipment and materials suppliers to develop and implement enabling technology elements and stay current on industrial process/material manufacturing trends.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors degree in a STEM field (Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related) with 5+ years of semiconductor industry experience, or a Masters with 4+ years, or a PhD with 1+ years.
  • •Direct CMP process development experience with hands-on process tuning and characterization.
  • •Experience with major CMP equipment platforms (e.g., AMAT, Ebara).
  • •Experience with CMP consumables such as slurries, pads, conditioning disks, filters, and clean chemistries.
  • •Ability to perform process technology feasibility studies using theoretical simulations and/or practical engineering methods.
