Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end quality assurance governance across the plant to ensure compliance with Ingredion policies, certification standards, customer requirements, and legal obligations.
  • •Lead and sustain food safety programs (GFSI/FSSC 22000, HACCP, GHPs, pest control, PRP, and environmental monitoring) to maintain continuous audit readiness.
  • •Serve as the site lead for customer, regulatory, certification, and internal audits, including preparation, execution, response management, and closure of findings.
  • •Oversee customer complaint management and root cause analysis, driving corrective and preventive actions and ensuring timely responses.
  • •Own quality systems administration and lead, coach, and develop QA/QC team members through training, performance management, capability building, and succession support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in food science, food engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum 7 years of Quality Assurance experience in food and beverage or ingredient manufacturing environments.
  • •Strong knowledge of food safety and quality management systems, including GFSI-recognized schemes such as FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, GHPs, Halal, and Kosher requirements.
  • •Proven audit leadership experience with external certification audits and customer audits; FSSC 22000 Lead Auditor certification, PCQI, and FDQI are highly valued.
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead teams and interpret quality data (e.g., Cpk/Ppk) and quality performance dashboards.
