Key Responsibilities

  • •Own Iran attribution end to end, including entities and the accounts, addresses, and infrastructure they operate.
  • •Lead attribution responses to Iran-related sanctions events by driving rapid, high-visibility on-chain attribution.
  • •Map Iranian networks on-chain by tracing how value is raised, moved, laundered, and cashed out through exchanges, mixers, swaps, mining, and off-ramps.
  • •Produce finished intelligence through advisory notes, customer/partner briefings, and contributions to flagship publications.
  • •Build with AI by designing and tuning automation that scales analysis, while leveling up the team and translating typologies into detection guidance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 180,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Deep, demonstrable Iran expertise across the IRGC, IRGC-Qods Force, proxy/Shia militant landscape, and Iranian sanctions evasion or illicit-finance/procurement systems.
  • •On-chain tracing ability for Iranian targets, including experience following Iranian crypto activity on-chain and blockchain-tracing skill.
  • •A national-security or threat-finance background (e.g., intelligence, sanctions/OFAC, counter-threat-finance, investigations, law enforcement, military, or CTF/sanctions work).
  • •Strong regional fluency in Iranian geopolitics and proxy network/regional financial flows (Farsi or Arabic is a plus).
  • •5+ years of relevant analytic, intelligence, or threat-finance experience; strong judgment, writing, and communication for an outward-facing expert role.
